Filter Cleaners
A hot tub filter is prone to becoming full of dirt and grime. If not properly cleaned, this can cause your hot tub to work inefficiently and can cause more severe problems. Our filter cleaners give outstanding results - allowing your filter to do its job perfectly!
Filter Cleaners
Your hot tub filter is an essential part of your hot tub. It keeps it working to the best of its ability, as well as keeping the water clean and free from dirt and grime. For it to do this, it needs to be cleaned and looked after. With this in mind, when purchasing a hot tub, you also need to remember to buy the appropriate cleaning methods to make sure that it lasts for a long time, without the filter system breaking!
Why do I need to Clean my Filter?
Cleaning your filter is an essential step in making sure that your hot tub runs smoothly. Regularly cleaning will remove the dirt and grime that the filter has already caught and then the clean filter can be put back into the hot tub. A clean filter will also keep the water looking clean and clear and can help prevent any cloudy and murky water – which definitely isn’t what you want to be relaxing in! However, if you have recently cleaned your filter and the water is still looking cloudy (it’s not always only the filter’s fault) – you can simply use our Spa Clarifier, which is designed to make your water look crystal clear again in one easy step!
How Do I Clean my Filter?
On average, your hot tub filter should be cleaned every 2-3 weeks (depending on how often your hot tub has been used during this time). By using one of our easy to use filter cleaners, the filter can be cleaned and ready to be used again in as quickly as 30 minutes! All you need to do is remove the filter and clean off any loose gunk and grime and then follow the easy instructions on the back of our filter cleaning solutions – it’s that simple!
Hot Tub Filters and Hygiene
As previously mentioned, hot tub filters need to be cleaned regularly in order for them to work efficiently. An unclean hot tub cleaner can cause more problems than one, from foul odours, cloudy water and can even stop your hot tub from working overtime. A clogged hot tub filter can't do the job that it should (which is to essentially keep the hot tub clean and fresh). Essentially, your hot tub filter is there to remove dirt and grime (such as body oils, dirt, soap and other unwanted residues) and keeping it clean and clear will make sure that it continues to do so, allowing you to enjoy your hot tub with every use!
